2025 Review

2025 was a record-breaking year for Flip-Pay. For the second year running, we doubled our business, expanding across the USA, LATAM, UK, and EU, and finally moved into our new custom-built headquarters.

But more than just growth, 2025 was about focused innovation.

While the industry often treats AI as a “cure-all,” we’ve taken a different path: Responsible AI. We’ve embarked on ISO 42001 certification to ensure our AI implementations are ethical, transparent, and protect our customers’ data and intellectual property. No hallucinations, no data exposure—just tools that actually work and benefit the workflow.

We also spent the year developing and testing our next-generation platform. As a test, we launched Pledgebear.com as a direct-to-consumer proof of concept, going from idea to market in weeks. This next-gen tech is 100% compatible with our current solution but radically simplifies management and go-to-market, enabling publishers to execute fast with a significant reduction in operational expenditure.


Looking Ahead: What’s coming in 2026?

If 2025 was about building the foundation, 2026 is about scale.

  • The NOVUM Initiative: Our partnership with Teak is growing incredibly fast. By integrating Single Copy, Newsstand, Carrier Billing, and USPS capabilities, we’re providing a powerful “exit path” for legacy Naviga customers looking for modern digital and print solutions.
  • The “Guardian-Style” Model: In March, we launch our dedicated non-profit platform. We’re going live with a high-profile US publisher, offering an off-the-shelf voluntary contribution solution that deeply integrates with print and digital subscriptions. The non-profit tech builds on the work we launched with HuffPost.com and their donations-based membership solution.
  • Launch in a Day: In Q1, we’re releasing our new self-service subscriptions and donations solution. Initially white-labeled for industry partners (and later under the Flip-Pay brand), it lets a publisher launch a full-stack identity, subscriptions, donations, finance, customer-service solution, and analytics suite in 24 hours. We’re still finalizing the name, but the goal is simple: transform the industry, empower publishers, and give our competitors an enormous headache.
  • Team Expansion: We are hiring throughout 2026. We don’t believe AI replaces people; it augments them, and there is no automated substitute for experienced staff. We’re growing our US and LATAM teams and our global support staff in Dublin to maintain the agility our clients rely on.
